Interestingly the practice of surfing the web, jumping from one site to another, and somtimes finding gems in a sea of information has gone. Yet the artifacts are all still there to browse. Yahoo, whose humble beginnings started with 2 students cataloging and itemising the web is a case in point, rapidly taken over by the search technology of google as the web exploded. However surfing the web opens you up to new possibilities, new thinking, new trends and new horizons, whereas googling will inevitably reinforce your own limited self beliefs or the populist view of others.
I’ll be looking at different resources on the web in a highly haphazard way and hopefully bringing you a gem or two.
Comments are open, so if you know of a resource feel free to post.

I’ve recently become mesmerised by tag surfing in the last few days. I adore its unconscious stream of thought, its lateral connections and the places it can take you.
Click any tag and away you go, and there some real peaches out there. “dandelion-salad-news-or-politics” has got to be one of my faves, although its more politics and less dandelion salad, but with a tag like that you’ve just got to go and take a peep. You’d think with the new year in that Christmas would be done and dusted, but oh no “bing-crosby” is still alive and kicking, “merry-christmas” salutations are still being sent and the interest in “christmas-lights” astounding, there are blue christmas lights, green christmas lights and warm white christmas lights to name all but a very few.
With valentines only a heartbeat or two away, you just have to explore the realm of love, but watch out there is “good-love” and “bad-love” and if you are looking for your “love-story-2050″ you’ll only find out that it is the Worst Bollywood Film of 2008. Anyway don’t be a “valentine-violet” and add “little-subtle-seduction” to your valentines this year.
There are some interesting tags around “unyk-mobile-synch” eunuch for short, or you can check out some misspellings “bandwith” makes me giggle for some reason, still I don’t think you can beat “Microwave -Immunohistochemistry”

Okay if this is not your thing just move along, but if you are looking for a last minute gift for your girlfriend or just like looking at girls in their underwear then this might just be for you. So without much ado check out Huts’s Clothing & Lingerie, a great jumping off place. If your needs are a little more specfic (and boring), say sports bras you could check out smart womens fitness apparel. Live in Texas? Then uscity.net has a texas lingerie page just for you. Hey, you can find out all sorts of things, like tights are back in fashion! Have fun and add cufflinks to thongs or look ahead to your holidays and add swimwear to lingerie.
